I am currently a junior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film & Television. Being Born in London and growing up in Hong Kong, I have diverse perspective on storytelling and the art of filmmaking. This summer I interned at Warner Bros in The Wolper Organization  as an Development intern, previously I interned for Film Director and Show runner Misha Calvert. On my free time I love creating and writing new film stories and also directing my shorts. I love watching films, film analysis videos and also playing  inline hockey and inline skating. 

 

I love film for it's ability to touch our hearts, entertain us, and transport us to different worlds. I am drawn to the genre of Magical Realism for its ability to use surreal or magical qualities to convey deep messages and evoke emotions in audiences. Growing up I also avidly read fairytales and fantasy novels. Being introduced to drama I learnt the gritty side of films and the power of infusing magic in our real world and including societal issues.

I aim to blend real life and touches of magic within my own work. My favorite TV show is Black Mirror and my favorite films are Parasite, La La Land and It's a Wonderful Life. My favorite book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
